God Is…

Our prayers and thoughts go out to the families of the World Trade Center attack, the Pentagon attack, and the plane that went down in Pennsylvania, due to some courageous Americans trying to stop the brutal act of terrorism.  We offer our sincere condolences to those who were touched by these traumatic events.  The memories of the people lost will live on in the hearts and minds of the relatives that have been affected by this act of terrorism on September 11, 2001.  I hope that our church will continue to be a haven for anyone that attends.  Christ’s love extends beyond human experiences.  No matter if the act is a terrorist on a plane or a knife carrying madman on a bus, one thing is certain, our hope is in Christ not in man.

Once again we approach one of the most beautiful times of the year in New England.  We have so much to be thankful for as Americans.  We have been blessed more than any other nation in the world.  God is still in control of all situations and circumstances. unlike humans, who occasionally lose their grip on an event.  I appreciate each one of you who have had a part in Blackstone Valley Baptist Church.  I am truly thankful for your participation in this ministry.  I believe as the seasons begin to change across our area, it will also begin to change spiritually.  There are great things in store in the future for the Lord’s church.  We hope you will want to be a part of the exciting changes coming up.  If you are a member of Blackstone Valley Baptist Church, we hope you will be praying about how God can use you to spread the Gospel in this community.  Tell someone about Christ today.  If you are not a member of Blackstone Valley Baptist Church, we sincerely hope that you will consider us to be your church home.  Don’t ever forget where you came from, whom you serve, and where you are going.  God is waiting to hear from you.  God bless you as you seek Him.

2 Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God is BEFORE me, He will be my guide;
God is BEHIND me, no ill can betide;
God is BESIDE me, to comfort and cheer;
God is AROUND me, so why should I fear?
