A ministry of Blackstone Valley Baptist Church
1. PURPOSE:
To provide temporary
mature spiritual leadership to churches and remote mission stations
around the world at no cost to the missionary.
To provide
temporary competent skilled laborers for construction projects to
churches and remote mission stations around the world at no
cost to the missionary.
2. PLACEMENT:
Coordination of fields
of opportunity with potential missionary candidates
Coordination of
fields of opportunity with potential construction workers and
craftsmen.
Maintaining a
data-base for references of all types of potentially helpful
personnel.
Communication with
missionaries, missionary candidates, laborers, workers and pastors.
3. TRAINING:
Providing temporary,
volunteer Pastor/teachers in Bible institutes for Bible Exposition;
Soul winning; Church planting; Pastoral counseling
4. PULPIT
SUPPLY:
Providing a
"Fill-in" for a missionary when he is called away from his
work.

5. FURLOUGH
RELIEF MINISTRY:
Provide a relief
missionary for a missionary while he is on furlough
Maintaining the
ministry of the missionary in his absence where no nationals are
prepared to do so
6. MISSIONS
CONFERENCES:
Provide speakers for
conducting Missions conferences and raising money for missions both
in the US and on the Mssion field.
Teaching Faith
Promise Giving to the missionary churches.
7. REVIVAL
MEETINGS:
Provide speakers for
meetings for the edification of the church and the missionaries both
in the US and on the Mission field.
Preaching
spirit-filled messages to draw the members of missionary churches
close to the heart of Christ
8. SURVEY
TRIPS:
Helping missionary
candidates to take survey trips
Raising money for
transportation to and from the field of consideration for qualified
candidates
9. COUNSELING:
Provide counseling
designed to help missionary families adjust to the changes in
environment and all the attached considerations of their
relationship to one another
11. PLAN:
Maintain a data base
of available personnel who have an interest in helping the
missionaries.
Secure funding for
transportation costs for those who are able and willing to go and
help on the mission field
Arrange meetings
for the promotion of missions
Coordinate
personnel of all vocations who are willing and able to provide some
kind of help to the missionaries.
